Do you want to manage the waste in your school more efficiently, but don't know where to start?

Scoil Choilm Community National School

Well, look no further.

Together with Dublin, Fingal, South Dublin, and Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Councils we have created easy-to-follow instructional videos for your school/green team. Managing waste in schools can be complex as there is a broad range of waste, from packaging, to food waste and much more.

However, there is a way to manage waste in a sustainable manner; that will save money, save time and save the environment.

It's a win-win-win!!

Schools play a major role in modeling good behaviour for children, a good recycling system and reuse strategy can also shape lifelong sustainable habits.

However, planning an effective waste management system can be difficult within the demands of a busy school environment. To assist schools, two informative video guides have been created. Both videos were filmed at Howth Road Mixed National School, Dublin 3.

These videos collect and share best practices from Irish primary and secondary schools.
