Come join VOICE at the screening of film that started the 10:10 campaign. The Age of Stupid is a 90-minute film about climate change, set in the future, with Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite staring as a man living alone in the devasted world of 2055, looking back at “archive” footage from 2007 and asking: ‘why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance’?Time is running out to prevent runaway climate change from a scientific and a human perspective. It is a huge privilege as well as an enormous responsibility to be alive today as we are the people that will succeed or fail. So I suggest we see the film then try and Save the World…There are millions of different solutions to climate change and there is a role for everyone, for example: 1). Spread the Word. 2). Start cutting personal and community emissions. 3). Campaign to pressurise our politicians. Our ability to debate and to change direction of society has always been a proud tradition of the print and radio media in the free world and therefore it would be an honor to have you attend and help to expand this crucial debate.Space will be limited at this venue so if you are planning to attend it would be best to register by e-mail to stefanie.ratzky@dkit.ie .
