[/caption]Cultivate Community Resilience Month marks a celebration and analysis into the emerging field of community resilience, a localised and sustainable response to the challenges we face as individuals and inhabitants of a shared planet.There are a host of events that you can go along to and get involved in, including:

• The launch of a new short film Surfing the Waves of Change on 25th October in the Greenhouse, Dublin 2;
• The Cloughjordan Ecovillage’s Connect 4 Resilience game which allows people to interact with the themes of resilience whilst taking part in a giant game of Connect 4;
• Daring to Live the Future Now – Weekend Workshop, from Friday 18th at 19.00 to Sunday 20th at 16.00 November in Cloughjordan. This workshop will be hosted by Deborah Frieze, Chris Chapman and Davie Philip and will be built around the book Walk Out, Walk On: A Learning Journey Through Communities Daring to Live the Future Now, by Deborah Frieze and Margaret Wheatley.
